Sensory learning becomes truly impactful when children explore the world directly through their own hands. In our Noljak Kiddler class at Rookids BGC, young artists engaged in a rich tactile exploration centered around jelly textures, discovering how unique physical properties inspire creative craftsmanship.
As a premier art school in BGC, Rookids emphasizes multi-sensory observation. The children carefully felt and observed the soft, wobbly texture of real jelly before translating those tactile impressions into an artistic interpretation of dotorimuk (traditional Korean acorn jelly). Using sculpting clay, paper plates, wooden utensils, and mixed media, students sculpted realistic jelly cubes, added colorful garnishes, and curated their own culinary display plates.
Our dedicated approach to kids art in BGC bridges sensory curiosity with fine motor precision. Through this joyful art class BGC session, children developed material awareness, spatial organization, and pride in transforming tactile experiences into tangible artworks.
