Sweet surprises and colorful creations filled the studio as our Open Art students turned everyday baking ingredients into extraordinary works of art! Our classroom transformed into a mini bakery as young artists mixed baking soda, flour, and paint to create their own textured cake masterpieces.
Instead of traditional brushes, students used zip-lock piping bags to decorate their canvases just like real cake artists. As they piped, squeezed, and designed, they discovered a whole new approach to art-making. They learned that sometimes the most exciting ideas happen when you dare to think outside the cake box!
Here at Rookids, we believe that creativity grows when children are free to experiment with unexpected materials, discovering that art can be made in the most delightful and surprising ways. No oven, no calories—just layers of imagination and a sprinkle of fun!
